Your Luxury Country Escape…
Located atop Berry Mountain, Glenworth Estate spans fifty acres of pristine Australian native bushland, farmland, and luxury accommodation. Steeped in history, the estate has deep roots in the Berry community.
Originally developed by James Wilson, the first Lord Mayor of Berry, the estate was later sold to the Frecker family in 1952. In 2017, the custodianship of Glenworth Estate passed to the current owners, who undertook a complete restoration of the farmhouse, servants’ quarters, forge, and stables, along with a rebuild of the original farm manager's cottage. The owners are committed to nurturing a vision of sustainable farming, with plans to further enhance the property's agricultural heritage.
Glenworth Estate invites others to share in its rich history by offering the venue for unique getaways, milestone celebrations, and tranquil retreats, providing an opportunity for guests to experience the charm and serenity of this historic estate.
The estate offers two luxurious accommodation options: Glenworth Cottage and Glenworth House. Both properties were designed by international award-winning interior designer, Victoria Hampshire, and retain the charm of their origins as the Mayor's House and the Estate Manager's quarters.
